Challenge
UGC works because it does not look produced. That creates an awkward brief: make something deliberately rougher than your usual standard, without it reading as a studio failing to do its job.
The second problem was that a single ad is not a deliverable. Paid social needs variants to test against each other, and each variant needs a genuinely different hook rather than the same script re-shot.
Solution
Production was stripped back on purpose—handheld, natural light, no grade—and the piece is labelled as UGC wherever it appears so nobody mistakes the register for the standard.
Four hooks were written against one shoot: a flat product statement, a sceptic’s angle, a POV framing, and a list format. Same footage, four openings, four different reasons to stop scrolling. That is how the format is actually bought, and producing them together costs a fraction of shooting four times.
What thisdemonstrates
Paid-social creative built for testing rather than for showing off. The variant structure is what a performance buyer needs, and it is the part most studios skip.
